About the Client

Employment is a United States-based company that specializes in tools that help people find jobs. Their job search engine serves over 200,000 users daily and has helped millions of people find employment over the years. The platform partners with many leading employers, connecting them with potential candidates through precisely targeted ads.

Challenge

The client came to us with a clear challenge: to build a new web application, building on their previous experience. The application was to run on modern technologies and meet high quality standards. The search engine had to be fast, reliable, and easily scalable, while remaining familiar and intuitive for existing users.

Solution

We worked closely with the client to understand their needs, gather all requirements, and design the new application from the ground up. We recommended a modern technology stack: JavaScript (ReactJS, NodeJS), Ruby on Rails, and Python; Google Kubernetes Engine; Google Cloud Functions / Cloud Run; Google Cloud SQL, Google Cloud Datastore, and Google Cloud Storage; as well as Google Cloud Pub/Sub.

Thanks to cloud-based solutions, these technologies enabled rapid development, high scalability, and lower infrastructure operating costs.

Results

Thanks to a series of A/B tests, the new version of the app has been optimized for an intuitive UX and for maximizing ad revenue and is fully ready for the official launch. According to forecasts, the platform is expected not only to capture but to quickly surpass the existing user base. At the same time, the product roadmap is being developed in parallel – additional modules are already being prepared for rollout in the first post-launch cycles.
