Graspify partnered with SH to build a microlearning platform and turn a bold vision into a working product for corporate learning. Through product discovery, design, testing, and development, we delivered a learning tool that organizations can put in front of their employees and actually see used.

Graspify is a Norwegian startup, part of the Kjentfolk society and backed by education specialists. Their mission is to change how companies train their people, with a microlearning platform built on the science of how humans learn.

The Challenge

Graspify's team of experts had a clear ambition: move corporate education away from long, traditional training formats. The challenge was turning that vision into a practical, functional product.

Our Approach

We broke the project into smaller steps, each with its own budget. Every phase ended with user tests, run either one-on-one or with a larger friendly group.

In January 2021, we completed the product discovery process and established a clear vision for Graspify 1.0. The following stages covered the MVP (Graspify 1.0 and 1.1) and an extended version (Graspify 2.0 and 2.1), which clients used during internal events.

The Solution

The Graspify platform lets corporate accounts create custom learning content, invite employees, and manage access to Grasps and courses. Managers track content views and learning progress, and the system recommends relevant courses and Grasps based on each user's progress.

Graspify offers a scientifically backed learning method that's fast, user-friendly, and efficient.

Timeline & Milestones

First Discovery Process

SH was tasked with building a comprehensive vision of the product. In the Product Discovery stage, we focused on the most basic processes and flows, and on testing how users interact with short course segments, called Grasps. The primary challenge was the balance between the shape, length, complexity, and simplicity of a Grasp. The outcome of Product Discovery was Graspify 1.0, the first MVP version.

Graspify 1.0 and 1.1

With Graspify 1.0, trusted clients and users could create both Grasps (5-6-slide minicourses) and full courses. These were people from large Norwegian companies looking for innovative microlearning approaches inside their organizations. The stage gave us a considerable amount of data for analysis.

Graspify 2.0 and 2.1

Graspify is currently being implemented in several Norway-based corporate accounts, with live testing at corporate events. The MVP results shaped the scope of Graspify 2.0 development, and the results from client events will feed into version 2.1, planned for the near future.

Success Story

In August 2022, a Graspify client ran an event for hundreds of employees, using the Graspify MVP (2.0) as the primary tool for training them on new products and internal processes.
